As part of the ongoing efforts to connect the international and the national, URG has worked with UNICEF, UNFPA, UNEP, and UN Women to track and measure the implementation of UPR, Treaty Body and Special Procedures recommendations on children’s rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment, and gender equality and women’s and girls’ rights respectively, gathering good practices on UN Country Teams support for States. RG has also led in the development of National Mechanisms for Implementation, Reporting and Follow-up (NMIRFs) as a way to ensure the national impact of the UN human rights system.
