Amalia Ordóñez Vahí is a Research Fellow at the Universal Rights Group. She currently works on projects related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, environment, inequality, democracy, and accountability.

Before joining URG, Amalia has worked with UNDP’s Office of Audit and Investigations, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development, Open Society Foundations, and as a translator for the European Union.

Amalia holds an MA in International Relations from New York University, where she was a Fulbright scholar from the US Department of State, an MA in Human Rights with a specialisation in migration law from UNED, and an MA in Conference Interpreting from the University of Manchester.
