Measuring what Matters: HRMI 2019 Global Human Rights Data Launch

Universal Rights Group New York, the Human Rights Measurement Initiative (HRMI), and the UN Foundation are cosponsoring the global launch of:

– The 2019 HRMI Human Rights Country Reports

– HRMI Human Rights Data Portal

– The URG-HRMI collaborative paper: “Is the global situation of human rights improving or deteriorating? Making the case for empirical measurement of Human Rights performance”

The launch event is open to all interested in tracking the human rights progress of countries, and will feature demos of the new Human Rights Data Portal, interviews with the co-Founders of HRMI, and the opportunity to ask
questions.

The launch will be held over lunch, 12pm-2pm, on June 6th, in the Nelson Mandela Room, Level 10, the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice, 320 E 43rd St, New York, NY 10017.
