Informal meeting between the delegates of the Trust Fund and the Contact Group on an inclusive and diverse HRC membership

The co-chairs of the Contact Group on an inclusive and diverse HRC membership, the Maldives and the United Kingdom, with the support of the Coordinator of the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund and Universal Rights Group, are organising an informal meeting between the delegates of the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund and the members of the Contact Group on Friday, 22nd March from 14h00 to 15h00.

The Contact Group was established in 2019 with the aim of strengthening universality, inclusivity and diversity at the Human Rights Council by encouraging States with a demonstrable commitment to human rights and democracy, especially Small States that have yet to serve on the Council and may be held back by capacity concerns, to stand for election.
