Charlotte Marres, Researcher

Charlotte Marres works as a Researcher at the Universal Rights Group Secretariat in Geneva. She is currently working on projects related to the High Commissioner’s Change Initiative, and human rights mainstreaming throughout the United Nations development system. Additionally, she supports the team in the production of several of the URG tools, including the Inside Track, the End of Council session reports, the UN Human Rights Resolutions Portal and yourHRC.org.

Before joining the URG, Charlotte worked as a human rights expert at the Mission of the United Kingdom to the United Nations in Geneva. Previously, she has also interned at the UN Women Brussels Liaison Office, focusing on women’s rights and programming.

Charlotte holds a Masters Degree in International Law, and a Bachelors Degree in Law from University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium.
