SAPI and URG

This report, produced by SAPI and URG, are the fourth installation of an annual paper series focusing on a human rights-based approach to new and emerging digital technologies. The first set of papers was published in 2022: Towards a Human Rights-Based Approach to New and Emerging Technologies: A Framework, followed by a second batch in 2023: A Human Rights-Based Approach to AI for Tech Startups and Global Normative Governance, and a third batch in 2024: Toward a Human Rights-Based Approach to New and Emerging Technologies: From Concept to Implementation.

Paper 4-1 was authored by Professor Stephan Sonnenberg of SAPI, Paper 4-2 was authored by Aly Moosa of the Gates Foundation (SAPI Affiliate), Paper 4-3 was authored by Dr. Marc Limon of URG, and Paper 4-4 was authored by Professor Stephan Sonnenberg of SAPI. Professor Yong LIM of SAPI served as the Project Manager for all papers and all accompanying policy engagements and stakeholder consultations.
