During his visit to Yei, he met with state officials, religious leaders and community leaders. At the meeting with community leaders, a woman spoke emotionally about the conflict that has affected the State, and Adama stood to console her. While in Yei, he said: ÒI was trimly moved when I listened to a woman who described the situation and misery they are living in.Ó He stressed that there is nothing as important as peace and he appealed to leaders to join together for unity rather than what divides people.
