Danica Damplo works as an Analyst at Universal Rights Group-New York City, a human rights project located at the Ralph Bunche Institute at the CUNY Graduate Center. Danica focuses on several projects, including transitional justice, the relationship between the Human Rights Council and the Security Council, and the United Nations’ Sustaining Peace Agenda.

Prior to joining URG, Danica worked as a Research Officer supporting the mandate of the UN Special Rapporteur on truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence. Before that, Danica worked with several nonprofits, including Independent Diplomat, a diplomatic advisory nonprofit in New York City.

Danica holds a MSc in International Affairs from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a MSc in International Affairs from Peking University (PKU), and a BA in Political Science and History from Columbia University.
